Checking one thing on a calendar shouldn't mean opening the whole calendar — a full app, a full grid, a context switch just to answer "when is that?". AnotherCal makes the answer ambient: a menu bar dropdown that shows your week, month or year as a countdown timeline — every event as "in 5h" / "in 12d" — with the ones that matter pinned to the top and meeting links joinable in one click. Zero networking code: it reads your calendar through EventKit and renders it, nothing else ever leaves the Mac.
